One of my favourites resources is Canada One's press release information resource, which I stumble across every now and then during online research. The growing number of online resources has not been confined to business or technology but has also reached the dental industry.

| Healthy Smiles Ontario |
 |
On Friday, October 1 st 2010 it was announced that as part of the provincial government's Poverty Reduction Strategy, Ontario will provide $135 million over the course of three years to the Healthy Smiles program.
Healthy Smiles is an extension of the Children In Need of Treatment program. The Healthy Smiles program extends dental benefits that have been available to families on social assistance. The program is an addition to families who already receive the Ontario child benefit credit.

It is advisable to consult with a Lawyer and Accountant when forming a dental professional corporation and be sure they can connect with each other when necessary. The first step when forming a dental professional corporation is to prepare the Articles of Incorporation for filing. The corporation must be structured properly and the appropriate classes of shares should be provided for in the Articles. Ensure the name of the corporation complies with the Business Corporation Act. When forming a professional corporation one is responsible for the preparation of a number of organizing documents including Director and Shareholder Resolutions, Consents and By-Laws and a Shareholders Agreement that is relevant to professional corporations which gives you the dentist ultimate control over the shares. After the Articles have been filed, your solicitor and accountant can also assist you with the preparation and filing of various mandatory forms with both the Ministry of Government Services (Ontario) and the Canada Revenue Agency.

| The RCDSO Teams Up With the ODA, Again |

Medical schools around the world are including electronic network based learning resources within teaching tool kits. Organized dentistry must encourage the creation of websites that deliver an educational social network that accelerates dental knowledge. Associations and institutions must allow unrestricted discussion forums without censorship. Shared information through forums, blogs and video archives improve all aspects of education.
As we have seen with the introduction of cone beam computed tomography which has taken place over the past ten years a lifelong commitment to learning is an essential part of quality dental practice, the RCDSO and ODA have taken steps to ensure the accessibility and availability of shared information.
